Historic Walking Tours

Our unique town offers gorgeous natural springs, hiking and mountain biking trails, an elegant horse country and at the center of it all… a beautiful Downtown Ocala with a rich history full of stories. We invite you to explore this history  through our quarterly guided tours or a self-guided mobile walking tour traveling through the Downtown nestled in North Central Florida.

Ocala Main Street (OMS) is hosting a Valentine’s Special Walking Tour on February 12th, which includes a 2-hour guided tour through the historic district, a champagne toast, wine & mead tasting and chocolate treats for those in attendance. Check out this and upcoming events to register today!

In partnership with the Ocala Main Street and sponsored in part by the Department of State, Division of Historical Resources and the State of Florida, City of Ocala and Historic Ocala Preservation Society, you can take a self-guided tour any time during the year!
